? Have you ever wanted to learn how to make a traditional mooncake? Or wondered how you could add your own twist on a traditional mooncake filling? Come join us for a virtual cooking demo where we’ll show how to make a traditional lotus paste mooncake and how to make a matcha mooncake!

2. Prepare the following tools and ingredients to follow along:

Tools:
– Measuring Spoon/Cups
– Food Scale
– Parchment Paper or Silicon Baking Mats
– Pastry Brush
– Baking Tray
– Mooncake Molds – (e.g. https://www.amazon.com/…/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o02…)
– Rolling Pin

Ingredients for Lotus Seed Mooncake:
– Golden Syrup
– Lye Water
– Neutral oil
– Cake Flour
– Lotus Seed Paste – (e.g. https://www.amazon.com/Lotus-Seed-Paste-16-oz/dp/B07YJ6Q4YH)

Ingredients for Matcha Mooncake filling:
– Matcha Powder
– Split Mung Beans
– Salt
– Sugar
– Milk
– Glutinous Rice Flour (Mochiko)
– Neutral oil
