Spots are limited! Please RSVP with the Google Forms link below and plan to arrive early to fill out any necessary waivers. The venue is rather strict on tardiness.
What to Expect:
Repeated bending, walking, and moving.
Tables and chairs are available to take breaks as needed.
Please arrive 10-15 minutes prior to the start of the shift to allow time for check-in.
Leave valuable items at home, as Second Harvest Food Bank is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
Unfortunately, due to the nature of the projects, we are unable to accommodate late arrivals.

Closed-toed shoes are required for all participants.
We suggest wearing easily removable layers, as the temperature in the distribution center varies.

Minor Volunteers:
This opportunity is available to volunteers 13 years old and above, with an adult chaperone 21+. Volunteers aged 16 to 17 do not need a chaperone. Volunteers aged 13-17 years old, please have your parent or legal guardian register online and email us at Volunteer@feedoc.org. Please print and bring your signed waiver the day of your shift. This is a requirement for all minor volunteers.
The following volunteer ratio is required:
Ages 13-15: 1 chaperone per 10 children.
Ages 16-17: No chaperone required.

Our Distribution Center is located at 8014 Marine Way. Please park in the area signed for visitor parking. From the parking lot, head toward the building with the mural. Enter through the door marked Volunteer Entrance, located near the flagpole. As you drive along Marine Way, please be cautious and patient of construction going on throughout the area. It is important to observe all safety signs.

Community Service Hours Verification:
We are only able to verify volunteer hours on the day of service. If you require hour verification for school or community service, please bring your form with you so our volunteer team can sign off on your hours the day of your shift. We are unable to make exceptions.
